建成于1997年的延安路高架,其在中山东一路的那个下行弯道,原本只是一个普普通通的下匝道,但由于其特殊的地理位置,在不知觉中,造就了一道上海滩最酷的风景.上海延安东路高架外滩下匝弯道是欣赏外滩美景的绝佳角度,在众多市民口中被称作“亚洲第一弯”。
这个弯口是欣赏外滩景区精华的绝佳角度,当车行在延安东路高架上时,不少乘客往往还在感叹两边林立的高楼,忽然一个左转,视野豁然开朗,左边是金色的外滩万国建筑博览群,右边是东方明珠、金茂大厦以及亮晶晶的陆家嘴中央商务区楼群。据了解,这个风景绝佳的弯口不知从什么时候起被人称作“亚洲第一弯”,这个说法虽没得到官方的认可,但在游客当中慢慢被传开,名气也越来越大。到此放慢车速,已是众多旅游公司和出租车司机公开的秘密。

然而,随着外滩综合交通改造工程的全面实施,被称为“亚洲第一弯”的延安路高架外滩下匝道将于2008年2月23日午夜12点起封闭交通,进入拆除施工阶段. 陪伴了上海市民10来年的亚洲第一弯将功成身退。为了能最后欣赏一下第一弯带来的浦江美景,这两天赶来此地拍照留念的市民络绎不绝。拆除这个“亚洲第一弯”,没有看到有人站出来抗争,也许那是因为外滩通道综合改造工程可能会让城市更便捷、有助于改善城市风貌,甚至激活这个区域的经贸活动。在民众眼中,那是一种向前发展,是顺势而为,故他们也只想借助相机留住“第一弯”的英姿。

看着即将被拆除的“亚洲第一弯”,不禁让笔者想到2004年被拆除的拥有百年历史的十六铺码头。或许这些承载着历史痕迹的建筑地标的改建和拆除对于人们来说是一种惋惜,但我们可以看到在不遥远的未来,上海这座大都市将提供给居住在这座城市的人们更便捷的交通,更舒适的生活。作别“亚洲第一弯”,上海的未来会更灿烂!

Is there any traffic impact assessment of its demolition from the relvant departments?
Nobody standing out to say different views doesn’t mean they totally agree. Maybe people, included me,
need more open information and communications with politicans and planners to know the details.

This is so typical chinese government behavior… The traffic impact has been chaotic and troublesome.

Friends, Shanghai is a huge city, comparing to a city like Moscow it doesn`t have traffics at all. In Moscow you can spend three-four hours trying to get from the downtown to the airport.
